When the U.S. sends ground troops into Iran, that's when the U.S. stock market will crash, and gold will take off. Personally, I estimate this will happen around April. But $BTC might drop along with the U.S. stock market first. After enduring the painful period, the real takeoff for $BTC will be when it stops following the stock market.
