Trump confirms US military will send second aircraft carrier to Middle East According to a report by Golden Finance, US President Trump confirmed on February 13th local time that the US military will send a second aircraft carrier strike group to the Middle East to pressure Iran to reach an agreement with the US. Trump said in a media interview at the White House that if the United States cannot reach an agreement with Iran, "we will need it (the second aircraft carrier). He also stated that if an agreement is reached, the US aircraft carrier will "leave soon".
