Just a few days until the New Year, and I saw some great news～ The leading project in the privacy space, @aztecnetwork, is finally about to launch its TGE! Here’s a quick summary: 1. The Aztec Ignition Chain went live in November 2025 and is being called “the first truly decentralized L2.” 2. The community has a high level of recognition and strong cohesion. In the on-chain public sale in December 2025, half of the subscriptions came from the Aztec community. 3. Aztec is the first true privacy application in the ETH ecosystem. The infrastructure is complete, it’s live on the mainnet, blocks are being produced continuously, and Aztec is not EVM-compatible. They’ve developed their own privacy-friendly virtual machine and proprietary programming language, Noir. 4. Most importantly, they’ve got strong backing and deep pockets, having raised $100M in a Series B round led by a16z. Privacy is the core of crypto, which is why I’ve always been a fan of the privacy space. Based on the points above, this project seems solid. The launch timing was decided by community vote, so the fact that it’s launching now shows the team and community have absolute confidence. I’m really looking forward to this! To my friends who’ve been feeling a bit jittery with all the recent project launches and dumping right after, I’d say take it easy with this one. Air-dropping skeptics, proceed with caution.
