((Blockchain.com)) Receives UK FCA Registration, Offers Compliant Crypto Services

On February 10, ((Blockchain.com)) obtained crypto asset business registration from the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), enabling it to provide compliant brokerage, custody, and institutional-grade crypto services in the UK. Previously, the company had received authorization under the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), allowing it to offer crypto services in 30 European Economic Area countries. It also plans to apply for full authorization later this year, aiming to secure comprehensive authorization by the time the new permanent regulatory framework takes effect in 2027.
