Previously, Bank of America's January Fund Manager Survey reported that cash levels held by funds dropped to a historic low of 3.2% (previously 3.3%). Now, short positions in the S&P 500 ETF and Nasdaq 100 ETF have fallen to their lowest levels in the past eight years. The bulls have almost used up their ammo, and the bears have been beaten to a pulp.
