DHS Secy. Noem announced "effective immediately we are deploying body cameras to every officer in the field in Minneapolis." Senate Democrats have announced requiring officers to wear body cameras was one their demands to be included a full-year funded DHS bill. House-approved DHS bill included funding through Sept. 30 for body-worn cameras for ICE and CBP agents. DHS will only be funded to Feb. 13 under this gov't funding package.(Craig Caplan)
