Kevin Warsh officially nominated as the next Fed Chair! The market reaction is quite strong, especially in the U.S. bond market. Personally, I don’t like this guy! Compared to Hassett, his style is more hawkish, and he’s a firm inflation controller. With commodity prices rising right now, controlling inflation is basically mission impossible, so the path to future rate cuts will be even tougher! Hopefully, his deep ties with Trump will make him more obedient!
