On the one hand, AI influencers were so excited that they were almost out of oxygen, while Claude Code, Clawdbot, and Cowork boasted like humans would be laid off tomorrow On the other hand, most of the people around me, including many engineers and investors, have been suffocated by the speed of change Especially for those in the early stages of their careers, they are most likely to fall into it They are afraid that the things they have learned, the skills they have practiced, and the judgments they have made are being rapidly devalued This is a psychological trap Don't fall in You shouldn't sit by and watch, nor should you rely on browsing a few articles about software engineering changes to gain a sense of security The same goes for investment If you write ten research papers, your anxiety will not be reduced by a single point You just packaged fear as learning Imagine it's 1993 and the PC revolution has just begun If you could go back, what would you do The answer is simple Try it all once Buy a computer Learn to type blindly Find out what the Internet is Suck it in like air Don't wait until it's written into the job requirements to start learning At that time, you were already slow The current AI follows the same logic Don't pick Don't hesitate Don't comfort yourself by saying you'll learn when you need it Go and touch whatever you can Claude Code, go try it out Clawdbot, go try it out Try integrating Excel Veo, go try it out You don't need to become an expert first You just need to establish your intuition first Engineers use AI to speed up, called productivity Investors use AI to speed up, called cognitive arbitrage You can understand information faster, break down projects faster, identify risks faster, and form opinions faster You can run different curves in the same market You need to know what it's doing What is it good at Where does it talk nonsense In which aspects can it accelerate you tenfold You have to always be half a step ahead of it Evolve with it Don't predict how society will change That's too big, no one can figure it out You just need to predict how it will change your workflow How to change your daily decisions How to change the way you collaborate with colleagues How to change those small frictions in your life The same goes for investment How will it change your research approach How to change the speed of your project screening How to change your narrative verification method How to improve your ability to handle information noise How to change your reaction speed at critical nodes The gap in the future won't be whether you know about AI or not But did you make it your default cheat Others are still struggling to see if they will be replaced You are already using it to increase leverage No matter how old you are No matter which stage you are at We are all experiencing the biggest technological change in the past century And we were all involved together No one has a standard answer Change is bound to happen But as long as you are willing to stand at the forefront, no one will figure it out for you first So don't hide Sit in the front row Keep an eye on it Go ahead and try it out Stay curious Don't entrust yourself to anxiety You should feel fortunate Because there has never been an era where standing at the forefront of technology has been as easy as it is today More importantly, there has never been an era where ordinary people can magnify their cognition tenfold with tools, which is as easy as it is today
