House Ethics investigative subcommittee today released a 59-page "Statement of Alleged Violations" against Rep. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick (D-FL), finding "substantial evidence of conduct consistent with the allegations in the indictment as well as more extensive misconduct." House Ethics Cmte first began investigating her for possible violations of campaign finance laws in 2023. She was indicted in November for stealing $5M in FEMA funds to support her 2021 campaign.
