Lawyers representing Gemini and SEC officials filed a court document on Friday requesting a federal judge in New York to dismiss the case. The SEC stated that its decision to withdraw the lawsuit was based on the company reaching a settlement with the New York State Department of Financial Services (NYSDFS) and investors having fully (100%) recovered their cryptocurrency assets.
