Not only is it not “about drugs” but it breaks down our ability to enforce the international order. What happens now when China makes claims against Taiwan? What legal claim prevents another foreign government from invading Florida to arrest Trump as a convicted criminal? The only answer MAGA will have is force. But in a peaceful world order we cannot solely rely on might makes right.
