1) We have an estimated $1.5 trillion in fraud spending across the US govt 2) We spend $1.2 trillion per year in interest to pay the national debt 3) Our annual budget deficit is about $2 trillion per year The never ending war spending, leaving the gold standard, passing the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 (Hart-Celler Act), passing the Refugee Act of 1980.
