Prediction markets essentially have little to do with the crypto space. They just use stablecoins for settlement, just like foreign trade uses USD for settlement. It's hard to call it a major innovation in the crypto space. The only connections to crypto I can think of are: 1️⃣ Sky-high VC projects issuing tokens (like Polymarket, etc.) 2️⃣ Some of the money coming from outside the space can stay within the crypto space.
