edgeX's MARU is live, holding steady around 250M. It seems to be the second official Meme launched among the major PerpDex platforms, with the first being Hyperliquid's Purr. Haven't heard any official Meme news from Aster or Lighter yet. Beyond the cultural aspects like community identity, I have a hunch that the Hyperliquid and edgeX teams might come up with some fun stuff around these two Memes in the future. It might not necessarily be direct utility or things like buybacks, but possibly some new gameplay or features we haven't seen yet. Especially since edgeX has integrated prediction markets and is starting to take the path of a super DAPP at the entry level, the potential for future operations and fun is pretty huge.
