Should be an interesting film. It’s for sure a good sign to see @LawrenceLepard being interviewed. Before the Federal Reserve, the U.S. experienced only episodic inflation, often tied to wars or gold discoveries and was frequently followed by deflation - which pulled prices back down. In other words, there was no sustained, compounding inflation. Over the long run, prices were remarkably stable. Since 1913, and especially after abandoning the gold standard, the U.S. has experienced persistent, structural inflation with the dollar losing over 95% of its purchasing power. The banking cartel, ever since secretly meeting on Jekyll Island, is at the root of many of our problems. Why do you think the Clarity Act hasn’t yet passed? The Banking lobby. The banking lobby and financial institutions prop up career politicians like @EdMarkey. Time to change that! If you agree donate at: https://www.johndeatonforsenate.com/(John E Deaton)
