[China November M2 Money Supply Year-on-Year Growth 8%, M1 Up 4.9%]
According to data from the official website of the People's Bank of China, as of the end of November, the total social financing stock reached ¥440.07 trillion, an 8.5% year-on-year increase. Among this, the balance of government bonds was ¥94.24 trillion, up 18.8% year-on-year, and the balance of RMB loans was ¥267.42 trillion, up 6.3% year-on-year. In the first eleven months, the cumulative increase in social financing was ¥33.39 trillion, ¥3.99 trillion more than the same period last year, with net government bond financing at ¥13.15 trillion. Broad money (M2) balance stood at ¥336.99 trillion, up 8% year-on-year, while the M1 money supply grew 4.9% year-on-year. The balance of loans in both domestic and foreign currencies was ¥274.84 trillion, up 6.3% year-on-year, and the balance of RMB deposits was ¥326.96 trillion, up 7.7% year-on-year.
