[YouTube Introduces New Option to Pay U.S. Creators with Stablecoins] According to Fortune magazine, YouTube is now allowing creators on its platform to choose to receive earnings via PayPal's stablecoin. May Zabaneh, head of PayPal's crypto business, confirmed this arrangement and stated that the feature is officially live, currently available only to U.S. users. A spokesperson for YouTube's parent company, Google, also confirmed the news, saying that YouTube has added the option to pay creators through PayPal stablecoins. Earlier in the third quarter of this year, PayPal introduced the ability for recipients to accept payments in PayPal's stablecoin, PYUSD. Subsequently, YouTube decided to offer this option to its creators—allowing them to receive revenue shares earned from the content they publish on the platform.
