[The Bittensor Network is expected to undergo its first 'halving' around December 14]
BlockBeats news, December 8, according to a report by Cointelegraph, as Bitcoin enters its fourth four-year halving cycle, other decentralized projects are also beginning to adopt similar supply reduction mechanisms. After its launch in 2021, Bittensor is now approaching its first halving.
Bittensor is a decentralized, open-source machine learning network composed of dedicated 'subnets,' which create an AI service marketplace through incentive mechanisms. The network is expected to undergo its first halving around December 14, during which the issuance of its native token TAO will decrease from the current daily amount of 7,200 tokens to 3,600 tokens per day.
Grayscale Research analyst William Ogden Moore stated that this event is 'a critical milestone in the network's path to maturity,' as it progresses toward the 21 million token supply cap, aligning with Bitcoin's fixed supply limit.
