Just scrolled past a post on Supers mentioning that Binance has been doing a lot of charity work over the years, but not many people have noticed. As I kept reading, one simple eight-character phrase from @heyibinance stuck in my mind for a long time: 'Do good deeds, ask not about the future.'
In the past six months, @cz_binance and Binance have donated over $5 million globally. They never treat these actions as a branding project or use charity as a form of promotion—they just quietly get things done. To me, this kind of attitude is more worth learning from than how much money someone makes. It made me realize that the measure of a person’s wealth isn’t just about how much they have, but how much they’re willing to give back to society. When we make money, we should also give back to the community.
It’s precisely this kind of influence that led me to make an almost instinctive decision when I saw the news about the fire in Hong Kong. As a university student still in school, my ability is very limited, but I hope to grow within this kind of value system. I decided to donate HK$144,440 to support disaster relief and rebuilding. It’s a small gesture from the bottom of my heart. I hope that in the future, I can persist in kindness just like Big Bro and Big Sis, and take it even further.
