OPEN Mainnet launched today, with Phase 1 focused on Open Datanet: the on-chain layer where anyone can contribute their data that powers the Specialized AI. Contributors whose data is validated move into the OPEN Datanet leaderboard, creating a clear path to earn OPEN based on the real impact of their contributions. The platform deploys a Proof-of-Attribution mechanism, ensuring that anyone whose data is used to train or run AI is paid directly in OPEN, incentivizing fair participation and transparency. Also worth mentioning that OpenLedger and the Cambridge Blockchain Society launched a 5 million grant program to advance decentralized AI research, and that there is a 3 month KAITO campaign with 250k OPEN as rewards for good content.
