The New York Times and ICIJ released a joint investigation revealing that over the past two years, at least $28 billion in 'dirty money' linked to hacking, fraud, and extortion has flowed into global crypto exchanges. Among them, Binance and OKX continued to receive suspicious funds even after being sanctioned by the U.S. authorities. The investigation shows that Cambodia's Huione Group (identified by the U.S. as a key node for fraud and money laundering) transferred over $400 million to Binance and $220 million to OKX within five months during 2024–2025. Even after the U.S. Treasury sanctioned Huione, these funds continued to flow in. Additionally, North Korea's Lazarus hacking group directed approximately $900 million in Ethereum to multiple Binance deposit accounts via swap services following the historic $1.5 billion Bybit theft. The New York Times stated that the Trump administration weakened crypto enforcement efforts and collaborated with Binance-related operations, creating space for high-risk funds to continue entering major exchanges. https://www.(wublock123.com)/index.php?m=content&c=index&a=show&catid=6&id=51975
