It's basically a whitelist collaboration mechanism for institutional miners. A few partnerships have already been established, similar to the mining mechanism of @SuccinctLabs. Even mechanisms like @boundless_xyz, which were permissionless for miners in the early stages, eventually pushed out small miners after a short cycle. So the end result is pretty much the same as $BTC—large mining pools monopolize the mining market. zk will likely follow this path, and fhe won't be any different. Also, @brevis_zk doesn't seem to have any mining opportunities, as there hasn't been any news so far. - Market liquidity isn't great, so it's hard to say how well Zama will perform.
