not a fan of bip-444. no matter how it’s framed, this proposal effectively adds “content filtering” at the protocol level, breaking bitcoin’s neutral and open data structure principle. worse, if implemented poorly, it could accidentally “freeze” or disable certain scripts and use cases, like complex contracts built with tapscript and op_if. a soft fork like this serves no real purpose and only brings unnecessary risk to bitcoin’s decentralization.(Yishi)
