["Post-2000s" Use Printers to Produce Over 2.5 Million Yuan in Counterfeit Currency and Settle Sales with Virtual Currency, 15 Arrested] According to CCTV News, Beijing police recently uncovered a suspicious transaction during their investigation. The transaction involved an image of a counterfeit currency template, leading the police to suspect that the buyer was likely engaged in printing counterfeit money. Following this lead, the police tracked down and arrested 15 suspects, dismantled 8 counterfeit currency production sites, and seized over 2.5 million yuan in counterfeit money. It was revealed that all the suspects in this case were born after 2000, with some even being minors. They first learned counterfeiting techniques through overseas software, then used printers to produce counterfeit currency, and sold it using virtual currency for settlement. The suspects not only produced counterfeit money themselves but also taught counterfeiting techniques to profit from it.
