Sometimes you’ll end up a bagholder and ask yourself if it’s better to hold or sell. I prefer to sell in most cases: • I like holding tokens that I have the strongest conviction in. If you’re even considering selling, it’s probably better to let it go. • Zero-based decision making. If you had to rebuild your portfolio from scratch today, would that token still be part of it? • Emotional cleansing. If you’re down on a token, it can feel bad and cloud your thinking. By selling, you clear mental space and make it easier to focus on new opportunities. • Headwinds: It’s an uphill battle against breakeven bagholders and token unlocks. Tokens can recover, but you’ll face selling pressure. Some people sell as soon as they break even, and the longer recovery takes, the more tokens unlock. • Opportunity cost. There's always new tokens and narratives. It's simpler to take advantage When do I prefer to keep? If it looks undervalued relative to its fundamentals. For example, when revenue and usage are rising. Also, if there are strong upcoming catalysts. There's no one size fits all rule when it comes to trading. Roundtripping and Bagholding is part of the journey. What matters is how quickly you can recognize when a position no longer deserves your energy or capital. Buying a bad token is a mistake. Keeping a bad token is a sin.(Edgy - The DeFi Edge 🗡️)
