Haven't posted in a while, but this time I want to step up and show some support for Star @star_okx.
OKX has been involved in memes and even so-called 'Ponzi schemes,' but more importantly, they've been deeply focused on building the industry's infrastructure—from EVM multi-chain support to BTC inscriptions, and now Onchain trading.
OKX has invested heavily, with a massive tech team, to create many excellent, user-friendly, and long-term free foundational products.
On the other hand, looking at Binance, while it has a huge liquidity advantage and firmly holds the top spot in the industry and ecosystem, I haven't seen it provide any forward-thinking or positive guidance for the Crypto industry.
Yes, we all came to this industry fundamentally to make money—no one is a saint—but the industry has now become so distorted that most participants are staring at a screen full of incomprehensible tickers, fantasizing about getting rich overnight. Quality content creators (KOLs) are being overshadowed by KOLs who are skilled at getting replies from big names, and excellent teams are working themselves to death but still can't compete with devs launching shady coins.
The essence of the Crypto industry is the next-generation version of Finance. Finance itself doesn't create value; the financial sector needs to continuously absorb value from the real economy. When some people make big money in uppercase/lowercase games, broccoli, or someone's life story, it inevitably means more people are losing money. The industry's wealth isn't increasing; it's just being redistributed.
This is also why this bull market hasn't seen an altcoin season. Only blue-chip tokens directly linked to external U.S. stock market liquidity through ETFs or DATs seem to exhibit signs of a bull market. Wall Street isn't stupid, traditional finance professionals aren't stupid—they'll use dollars to buy into decentralized ideals, bet on DeFi, and advocate for blockchain infrastructure, but they won't join us in playing the current on-chain word games.
That said, existence is reasonable. We still need to send blessings to friends and leaders who have achieved great success with memes. The version doesn't matter to participants; that's a problem for those who set the rules. Understanding the version and mastering the version is what truly matters!
