The split between SEC and CFTC has caused a ton of trouble in the USA. Most countries don’t have this problem. They have one financial markets regulator, not two. Isn’t it time Congress thinks about a bill to combine the agencies? Update all market structure, not just crypto.(Jake Chervinsky)
