The Global South, including Africa and the Caribbean, must unite in a powerful voice to demand urgent reforms of the international financial system to make it just and inclusive.
These reforms must include a stronger International Monetary Fund Common Framework, full replenishment of the International Development Association and the African Development Bank to ease financing constraints.
We must also inject fresh capital into multilateral development banks, make Special Drawing Rights work for people, and drive green industrialisation through bold energy investments.
