[Gold-Themed ETFs See Net Inflows Exceeding 58 Billion Yuan This Year]
According to a report by Jinse Finance, during intraday trading on September 2, the price of London spot gold reached a peak of $3,508.69 per ounce, while COMEX gold futures hit a high of $3,578.4 per ounce, setting new historical records. As of press time, international gold prices have slightly pulled back.
So far this year, gold-themed funds have delivered outstanding performance, with the best returns exceeding 65%. Additionally, gold-themed ETFs have seen net inflows of over 58 billion yuan this year, with total assets under management surpassing 160 billion yuan, marking a growth of over 126% compared to the end of last year.
Industry insiders point out that the current combination of high interest rates and high debt levels has resulted in extremely high debt interest costs for the U.S. government. The credit crisis surrounding U.S. Treasury bonds and the dollar persists, while central banks continue to purchase gold. Gold may still be on the path of a new cycle.
