According to Golden Finance, US Congressman Dina Titus has sent a letter to Acting CFTC Chair Caroline Pham, requesting an investigation into whether Chair nominee Brian Quintenz has violated regulatory policies and ethical regulations. Titus questioned Quintenz's alleged request for non-public information and conflicts of interest during his tenure as a director of the predictive market company Kalshi. Quintenz has stated that if confirmed, he will withdraw from the Kalshi board of directors. The Senate confirmation vote has been postponed twice.
