Yesterday, I had an unexpected and touching encounter with a woman who reminded me that I helped her years ago when she was diagnosed with long-term illness. She told me she had been waiting a long time to simply say “thank you.” Moments like these remind me why I serve. Sometimes, it’s about one person; one life changed, one burden lifted, one silent prayer answered. I was deeply moved by her gratitude and strength. I give God thanks for the opportunity to be of service, and I remain committed to building a Jamaica where no one is left behind.(Andrew Holness)
