Analyst: The US economy is stable and is expected to only cut interest rates once this year

According to a report by Golden Finance, Matthias Scheber, head of the multi asset team at Allspring Global Investments, stated that US fiscal policy remains loose, and the passage of Trump's "Beautiful Bill" undoubtedly adds fuel to the fire. It is expected that the bill will contribute up to 1 percentage point to US economic growth in its first year of implementation, and the marginal effect will gradually decrease thereafter. From a macro perspective, the US economy remains robust: the unemployment rate remains stable, real wages continue to grow, and corporate profitability is also resilient. Unless there is a major job market shock or renewed concerns about the independence of the Federal Reserve, we expect the Fed to maintain a wait-and-see stance and may cut interest rates once this year. The future direction of policies will largely depend on the balance between inflation and growth.
