🧵 1/ Integrity and irreversibility of time: from Turing machines to dissipative structures. From Turing machines to oracle Turing machines, and then to super poor iterative and dissipative structures, this is a philosophical path from computability to the order of real time. 👇 2/ Turing machines handle 'computable' problems. It defines a closed, deductive, and deterministic system that represents the classical sense of program execution and the reasoning ability of formal systems. But this is only the first layer. Computability TuringMachine 3/ The internal problem of Turing machines is a matter of "determinacy". When the system was unable to self determine certain states within itself, Turing introduced the "oracle machine". The oracle simulates human 'intuitive jumps' and makes judgments that cannot be deduced from within the system. OracleMachine Undecidability 4/ However, the oracle itself also requires criteria for judgment. Turing introduced the concept of "super poor iteration" in his doctoral thesis - recursively extending formal systems beyond any finite step, thereby defining a process that continuously approaches "completeness". OrdinalLogic Ultra Poor Iteration 5/ This is crucial. Ultra poor iteration constitutes a temporal logic of "external perspective": not a linearly deduced time, but a "meta time" that the system cannot self refer to. OrdinalIteration MetaTime 6/ This echoes Prigogin's' dissipative structure '. The core of dissipative structure is that the system achieves a higher order of emergence by dissipating energy in a nonlinear state far from equilibrium. And this evolutionary process is essentially irreversible. DissipativeStructures Irreversibility 7/ From the internal closed logic of formal systems, to the judgment relying on external oracles, and to the structural evolution under super poor iteration, we see a complete migration chain: → Decidability → undecidability The irreversible generation of meta time and order. Logic Computation Time 8/ Traditional consensus mechanisms such as BFT cannot express this irreversibility, as they rely more on game and voting mechanisms, which are reconfirmations of the internal state of closed systems. Bitcoin introduces irreversible processes aligned with physical thermodynamics through PoW. Consensus BTC ThermodynamicTime 9/ Bitcoin does not rely on "voting between nodes" to confirm time, but on the probability irreversibility of hash calculations, pinning each block to the chain timeline. This is a concrete example of implementing super poor logic and dissipative structure in the real world. Bitcoin PoW TimeAsymmetry 10/ The true 'completeness' does not lie within the formal system, but gradually approaches it through the introduction of dynamic structures with' time irreversibility '. From Turing's oracle and super poverty, to Prigogin's dissipative order, to Satoshi Nakamoto's irreversible chain - this is a true path of time. Irreversibility Turing Prigogine Satoshi
