Odaily Planet Daily News: Chain detective ZachXBT posted on X platform that the current cryptocurrency industry is experiencing an outbreak of a "criminal super cycle", with a surge in on chain money laundering activities, especially after politicians launched Meme coins and multiple cases were revoked. He pointed out that in recent hacking incidents, including Bybit, DMM Bitcoin, and WazirX, hacker groups such as Lazarus Group have successfully laundered stolen funds through over-the-counter traders and money laundering groups. He estimates that the size of the "Black U black market" on the Tron chain is no less than $5 billion to $10 billion, and most of it has not been attributed. He also criticized that many protocol teams remain indifferent when over 50% of their funds on the platform come from stolen assets, only charging fees without taking any measures. In addition, fraudulent project parties and KOL scams come at no cost, and smart contract hacking cases have been won due to legal delays, further exacerbating the moral hazard of the entire industry.
