Franklin Templeton launches tokenized asset 'intraday returns' on Benji
According to Cointelegraph, Franklin Templeton, with an asset management scale of $1.53 trillion, has launched a "intraday return" feature for tokenized assets.
This feature has been integrated into its tokenization platform Benji, allowing investors to calculate returns based on their holding time in seconds. It supports the accumulation of returns on non trading days (including holidays) and solves the lag problem of daily settlement of returns in traditional finance.
Roger Bayston, the head of digital assets, stated that the current system typically calculates returns on a daily basis and distributes them on a monthly basis, resulting in intraday traders being unable to receive their rightful returns. The company's on chain Franklin On Chain America. Government Money Fund manages assets of approximately $750 million.
