S&P 500 performance since the Fed's first rate hike in 2022 has not differed much from past eras. Only the 1989-91 period was stronger beyond this point. Via this lens, current cycle most closely resembles 1957, 1980, or 2007, although the first two had seen recessions by this long after Fed tightening.
