Yesterday, I had an important dialogue with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, the Honourable Andy Burnham. Jamaica is deepening its partnership with the United Kingdom, particularly in supporting our rebuilding efforts. On Sunday, we signed a four-year agreement to accelerate reconstruction following the passage of Hurricane Melissa. The agreement also seeks to strengthen Jamaica’s resilience in the face of future disasters.
