Good morning.
BTC took out my aggressive 10x long, and I triggered back into another 10x long precisely at 76.2K, as outlined in my image and plan.
I entered the original aggressive 10x long at 82.9K with smaller margin and less risk, since my bigger longs and spot positioning were already below. (I shared this publicly)
After the 8.5% drop, maintenance margin, fees, and the time the position had been open all factored in. That took out my first entry, but my second entry was triggered.
This is a strategy I’ve been discussing since the macro bottom at 57K: using leverage to catch the lows ahead of the next impulses higher.
If you followed my plan, you should also be in the re-entry.
There have been no changes to my larger 62.6K long, my spot position from around 65K, or the swing long I entered previously that captured the move to 87K before round-tripping. I’ve also re-entered the 10x long. Not to mention I posted that I bought even more spot on this move down.
So, I’m currently in 3 longs, with the rest in spot. This is how I trade. When I’m confident in the trend direction, I leverage uPnL to open isolated higher risk positions to increase my exposure. Even if my entry is slightly early, I can still capture the move and generate strong returns with this strategy. It’s not for the faint-hearted, and it won’t suit everyone.
Current positions:
62.6K long
76.2K swing long (entered before 87K)
10x re-entry at 76.2K (entered on this initial sweep)
More spot: 77.5K
