[Michael Saylor: Newly Elected Florida and Texas Officials Support Bitcoin Reserves, Propositions Crossing Partisan Boundaries] According to Odaily Planet Daily, Michael Saylor, founder and chairman of Strategy, stated in an article on the X platform that Florida's newly elected Republican governor supports the establishment of a strategic Bitcoin reserve in the United States, while Texas's newly elected Democratic senator had previously voted in favor of the state establishing a Bitcoin reserve. He believes that the arguments supporting Bitcoin holdings are crossing partisan boundaries. It is reported that Florida's newly elected governor, Byron Donalds, previously introduced H.R. 2112, which aims to provide legal force for an executive order establishing a federal strategic Bitcoin reserve and digital asset reserves. Texas's newly elected senator, James Talarico, voted in favor of the state's Strategic Bitcoin Reserve Act SB21 during his time as a state representative; this act is scheduled to be signed into law by Governor Greg Abbott in 2025.
