Singh said that OpenAI expects to release announcements related to UPI (Unified Payments Interface) and payments in the coming weeks; enterprise customers are moving from pilot and demonstration phases to large-scale production deployments. Addressing concerns about the potential misuse of autonomous AI agents, Singh stated that OpenAI is working with government agencies and businesses to protect critical infrastructure.
