[Thai Police Obtain Shuffle Fund Flow Data from 3 Exchanges, Form 80 Task Forces]
According to Odaily, Thai Cyber Police Deputy Inspector General Siriwat Deepho stated that police have received fund flow data related to Shuffle.com from three digital asset exchanges and have formed 80 task forces. The plan is to first investigate Thai users and then the overseas operators.
At a parliamentary hearing on October 29, a member of parliament stated that Gulf Binance, which operates Binance TH, discovered two wallets linked to 44 individuals, with funds flowing in and out of Shuffle through over 400 transactions, totaling approximately $113,000. Former Democracy Party member Sirichok Sopha stated that four of the nine Thai digital asset operators have on-chain connections to Shuffle, but this does not necessarily indicate any wrongdoing on the part of the exchanges.
The Thai Special Investigation Department is assessing whether to classify Shuffle as a special case and plans to invite the Thai Securities and Exchange Commission to participate in the investigation. Thailand's Ministry of Digital Economy and Society announced that it blocked Shuffle.com nationwide on October 9th. (Bitcoin.com News)
