🐋 WHALE WATCH : $318.5T sits in global stocks and bonds. $49B is tokenized on chain. Seven projects are competing for that gap. They arent the same bet.
CPOOL Clearpool
Clearpool connects institutions that need capital with stablecoin holders willing to lend it. The hard part isnt the technology its underwriting: deciding who gets a loan and on what terms.
The product includes institutional credit vaults revolving credit lines borrower screening transferable cpTokens and expansion toward the XRP Ledger and RLUSD.
Putting a loan on chain doesnt remove default risk. Lenders still depend on borrower finances underwriting quality and recovery process if something breaks. A transferable position also isnt the same as a liquid one you need a buyer and withdrawal terms can slow exits.
Holding CPOOL is also separate from lending through Clearpool. The token doesnt automatically give holders a claim on loan interest.
Watch repayment quality repeat borrowing and lender demand. Loan volume matters only if the loans keep performing.
CFG Centrifuge
Centrifuge gives asset managers the infrastructure to put investment products on chain. A Treasury fund and a private credit pool can both run on the same platform while carrying very different risk profiles.
The structure includes on-chain pools and vaults, multichain distribution senior and junior tranches DeFi liquidity connections and CFG governance.
Senior investors get paid first. Junior investors absorb early losses in exchange for higher potential returns. That shifts who carries risk but the underlying assets still need to perform. On chain reporting makes a fund easier to inspect. It doesnt answer who manages the assets who collects payments or what rights investors hold if the arrangement breaks down.
Watch manager and investor retention product diversity and redemption reliability. Those tell you more than TVL.
BKN Brickken
Brickken handles the operational work behind tokenization: investor onboarding KYC ownership records distributions and reporting all in one place.
The product covers token issuance and management eligibility checks equity and debt and fund support multichain deployment and distribution tooling.
Most businesses dont want to build their own tokenization stack. They want software that handles issuance and ongoing management without adding operational burden.
Software doesnt solve everything, though. The legal structure still needs to hold. Transfer restrictions need to function for years not just at launch.
Holding BKN is also a separate question from using the platform. Asset issuance volume isnt the same as platform revenue and neither tells you much about token demand.
Watch paying customers repeat issuance and recurring fees. Large numbers mean more when customers come back.
PLUME Plume Network
Plume builds the network layer where tokenized assets live move and get used across financial applications.
The infrastructure includes an EVM compatible RWA focused network Nest vaults asset distribution rails connections with asset managers and DeFi applications for tokenized assets.
The thesis is that assets need somewhere useful to go after theyre issued. Borrowing against them, depositing into vaults moving between applications each adds utility and reason to stay on the network.
Each added use also adds complexity. Borrowing against an asset introduces price feeds liquidation logic and lending contracts. A stable asset can become part of a risky position fast.
Wallet counts need context. Incentives attract deposits quickly and lose them just as fast when rewards drop.
Watch what people deposit how they use it and whether they stay after incentives end.
TRAC OriginTrail
OriginTrail doesnt issue assets. It handles the information behind them.
Its Decentralized Knowledge Graph organizes real world data into Knowledge Assets that applications and people can discover and verify. The product covers supply chain and enterprise use cases AI related data discovery and TRAC for publishing staking and network incentives.
Creating a token doesnt make the data attached to it trustworthy. A buyer checking provenance, condition or ownership history still needs a reliable source. OriginTrail works on making those records findable and tamper evident.
Verification has limits. Knowing a record hasnt changed doesnt prove the original claim was accurate. The source still matters.
TVL tells you nothing about a network built around information. Watch paid publishing repeat enterprise use and data demand instead.
ZBCN Zebec Network
Zebec starts with payments: payroll streaming payments cards and financial applications. Its RWA connection runs through the financial activity those rails support and the products they distribute.
The stack includes real time and programmable payments stablecoin payroll payment cards a SuperApp and tokenized asset integrations.
Businesses need to pay workers. People need to receive and spend money. Products that make those jobs easier earn repeat usage.
The harder question is what the business earns from that volume. Payment fees can be thin even at scale. Token holders also need to understand how revenue connects to token demand.
Tokenized stocks inside the app raise separate questions about what users hold who provides it and how they exit.
Watch payroll customers card usage fees and retention. Asset distribution becomes convincing only if the payment products already have real usage underneath.
ONDO Ondo Finance
Ondo puts familiar investments on chain: US Treasuries through OUSG and USDY and tokenized stocks and ETFs through Ondo Global Markets.
The product set includes multichain distribution and institutional integrations across all of them.
OUSG and USDY have different structures and eligibility rules. Someone who qualifies for one may not access the other and redemption terms differ between them.
Tokenized equity exposure also isnt identical to direct share ownership. Legal terms determine what the token holder can actually claim.
Liquid underlying assets help but dont remove every dependency. Custody issuers intermediaries and redemption arrangements all sit between the token and the asset.
Watch product demand, redemption reliability and whether distribution partnerships drive lasting usage.
These arent the same trade
Clearpool connects lenders with institutional borrowers. Centrifuge helps asset managers structure on chain funds. Brickken provides issuance and management software. Plume builds the network where assets get used. OriginTrail handles the data behind real world assets. Zebec focuses on payments and financial distribution. Ondo brings traditional investment products on chain.
The RWA label is a starting point. It doesnt tell you what you own or where the risk sits.
Four questions matter for every project: what does the holder actually own, who is responsible for paying them what happens if something breaks and how easily can they exit.
One more question for the token specifically: why should more platform usage create more demand for that token?
If you cant answer that last one you are buying the narrative not the asset.
