Haha, Marvel wants to acquire Lumentum, but I feel the deal is unlikely to go through. Lumentum is currently undervalued; they'd only sell at a premium of at least 50%. However, Marvel doesn't have enough cash; they'd have to issue 40% new shares to acquire it. If both companies develop normally, their market capitalization should be roughly the same by next year. Anyway, truly good companies are those whose value is gradually being discovered.
