🚨 WARNING: CRYPTO USERS COULD BE FACING A MASSIVE SECURITY THREAT.
Four data leaks have reportedly affected Coinbase vendor Amplitude, Bithumb, and South Korean financial firms Mirae Asset and Daishin Securities.
While customer funds were reportedly safe, personal information may have been exposed.
And this could be far more dangerous than losing money in an exchange hack.
Leaked names, phone numbers, home addresses, identity documents and transaction histories can give criminals everything they need to identify and target crypto holders.
We're talking about targeted phishing, SIM swaps, account takeovers, extortion and even potential crypto kidnappings.
Criminals don't necessarily need to hack your wallet if they know who you are, where you live and how much crypto you might own.
Use hardware security keys, secure your email, enable withdrawal whitelists and remove unnecessary personal information from exchange accounts.
Because once your personal information reaches the wrong people, the threat doesn't end when the exchange fixes the leak.
You could remain a target for years.
