Mastra stated that Knowledge differs from Memory, which is geared towards individual users and sessions. It primarily handles knowledge at the team and enterprise level, supporting the creation of independent knowledge bases based on different functions such as development and customer service, as well as the setting of individual, team, and organizational-level permissions.
