[OKXICE Proposed Tokenized Stock Platform Receives Opposition Notices from 16 Issuers] Odaily Planet Daily News – The cryptocurrency exchange OKX and the joint venture OKXICE, established with the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the parent company of the New York Stock Exchange, disclosed in an updated announcement that they have received opposition notices from 16 issuers, including companies such as Alphabet, Microsoft, and Goldman Sachs. Andrew Cuomo, Co-Chair of OKXICE and former Governor of New York, stated that these notices do not constitute outright opposition. Some companies simply wish to observe the operation of the tokenized stock model before making a decision. He also noted that more companies are expected to express similar opinions. The proposed platform by OKXICE plans to cover 62 companies listed on U.S. exchanges, with approximately 25% of them having raised objections. The platform is designed to operate 24/7 through permissioned Uniswap v4 liquidity pools deployed on XLayer, with tokenized stocks paired respectively with Tether's USDt, Circle's USDC, or Global Dollar's USDG.
