Recently, there have been three popular projects: @ metricsyz, @ forevercultfund, and @ NullMaskio.
1. Metric: Moving AMM from passive pricing to active market making
Metric's core product is called Active Pools, which belongs to the PropAMM (Professional Market Maker AMM) and oracle driven liquidity infrastructure direction.
Traditional AMM mainly relies on asset ratio pricing within the pool, and arbitrage trading is needed to promote price rebalancing after external market price changes.
Metric separates pricing from liquidity, with independent Price Providers providing buy, sell, and reference prices for each pool, which can be integrated with Chainlink, Pyth, or market makers' own quoting systems.
Its most valuable design is Percentage Bins: LP's funds are distributed within a percentage range around the reference price. When the reference price is updated, the liquidity range moves synchronously, without relying on arbitrage trading to adjust pricing.
The pool can openly accept LP funds or be operated by professional market makers as a private pool. It also supports Anchored Pricing, which anchors quotes to independent oracle machines to constrain pricing risks.
This mechanism is particularly suitable for RWAs with external pricing benchmarks such as tokenized stocks, gold, and foreign exchange, as these assets need to closely follow real market prices rather than letting on chain pools discover prices on their own.
As of October 17th, the cumulative trading volume on Metric's official website is about $24.1 billion, while DefiLlama's DEX trading volume over the past 30 days is about $4.027 billion, and 24 hours is about $294 million, while TVL is only about $8.36 million.
The project is currently publicly launched on Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Robinhood Chain, with liquidity reaching transaction needs through aggregators such as 0x, 1inch, and CoW Swap. The core contracts have undergone Zellic and Sherlock security audits.
Metric's business logic is to enable LPs and market makers to generate profits by relying on quote spreads, and to undertake more trades with less liquidity.
The risks are concentrated in the credibility of the Price Provider, delayed quotation updates, adverse selection during extreme volatility, and the unfavorable price of LP funds being continuously traded by more professional traders.
Forever: Want the agreement to continue making money and evolving after the founder leaves
Forever claims to be The First Immortal Protocol, which was originally an investment experiment centered around cultural assets such as MOG, PEPE, Milady, Remilio, CULT, and has now been upgraded to a bolder direction:
Utilize economic incentives to enable humans, AI agents, and protocols themselves to form an autonomous collaborative economic network. It hopes that the protocol can continue to create value, govern autonomously, and iterate, so that even if the founder withdraws, the system will not stop running due to the loss of a manager.
The founder has participated in DeFi liquidity infrastructure projects such as Camelot and Cypher, and has practical experience in protocol construction.
Forever's core idea: In the past, DAOs attempted to rely on user governance, but were often constrained by human coordination costs.
In the next stage, it is hoped that autonomous agents will directly participate in economic decision-making and must bear the real economic consequences.
The most difficult part here is how to design verifiable incentive and constraint mechanisms to prevent agents from damaging the long-term value of the entire protocol in order to obtain rewards.
At present, Forever's official website has opened Early Access registration, but the core contract, governance mechanism, token allocation, and revenue model have not yet been made public. The official has clearly stated that there are no tokens available for launch yet.
3. Nullmask: Privacy Policy (Recommended by Xiaohuangren @ theunipcs)
Nullmask focuses on Private VPN for Crypto, using zero knowledge proofs to build a private transaction layer.
Users can use wallets such as MetaMask to deposit ETH or supported tokens into the Shielded Pool, privately transfer and exchange within the pool, and then withdraw to other addresses. Reduce the direct correlation between public addresses by sending transactions through Relayer.
Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, and Robinhood Chain have been included in its EVM deployment scope, while Solana mainly carries MASK tokens and related reward activities.
Its founder Tomas Krnak has a background in cryptography and ZK technology, and has participated in Zcash related development.
The direct charges of the agreement are very clear:
Shield deposit charges 0.5%, Unshield withdrawal charges 0.5%, and cross chain Bridge charges an additional 0.2% protocol fee. Private transfers and Swap do not incur additional Nullmask protocol fees, but users still bear network and execution costs.
MASK has been circulating in Solana, with ZEC holder rewards and token destruction mechanisms, and a recent fully diluted valuation of approximately $40 million.
