[Chainalysis: U.S. to Become Net Bitcoin Inflow Country in 2026, First Time Since 2022]
Deep Tide TechFlow reports on October 16, citing Bitcoin Magazine, that the latest report from Chainalysis indicates the United States will become a net Bitcoin inflow country in 2026, marking the first time since 2022. The report highlights that U.S. institutional investors have been consistently buying Bitcoin this year, while retail investors have predominantly been selling. Chainalysis noted that since the launch of spot Bitcoin ETFs in 2024, the U.S. share in global Bitcoin activity has steadily increased during each reporting period. Meanwhile, the size of the U.S. crypto economy is approximately $2.78 trillion, a 2.2% decline compared to previous figures. Regarding stablecoins, U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoins continue to expand their use in overseas payments, peer-to-peer transactions, and cross-border commercial activities.
