《10 Minutes: Using AI to Recover 11 Forgotten Funds on the Blockchain》 ⚠️ Don’t forget to check your old wallets—you might have some unclaimed money waiting for you. ⚠️ This year’s wave of Crypto project shutdowns is more serious than expected. According to DefiLlama’s August statistics, by 2026, 100 projects have already announced closures, with 40 shutting down in just the past 90 days. When projects shut down, assets left in their protocols don’t automatically return to users’ wallets. As frontends, APIs, and data services stop being maintained, these assets become increasingly difficult to locate. Platforms like DeBank, which provide asset dashboards, can’t cover all old protocols. Over time, a common phenomenon emerges: your money is still on the blockchain, but you don’t even realize it’s there. Similar issues are widespread with cross-chain bridges. Many early cross-chain transactions weren’t instant; users had to initiate the transfer and then claim the funds on the target chain after a certain period. If forgotten in the middle, years later users might not even remember they have unclaimed funds waiting. Recently, many people on the Timeline have been using Grok Bot to check their old wallet addresses, letting it trace historical interactions to uncover forgotten on-chain assets. Inspired by this, Biteye has specifically developed a "On-Chain Asset Recovery" Skill, focusing on unclaimed cross-chain funds, assets from shut-down projects, old protocols, and other unclaimed balances. This tool is now open-sourced on GitHub, and you can run it with your old wallet addresses: https://(github.com)/BiteyeAI/onchain-reclaim We tested it with 10 old wallet addresses and successfully recovered 11 unclaimed assets worth approximately $54. These included balances on zkSync Lite, which is now shut down, as well as positions left unredeemed for over 900 days on Gains Network and Blast. Besides on-chain assets, it’s also worth checking your old exchange accounts. @Goupenguin (Little Penguin Teacher) previously shared a set of "Exchange Asset Recovery Checklist" prompts. You can use these alongside your email records to review old exchanges you registered with, old accounts, and any deposits, withdrawals, investments, or delisted assets. The prompts are already shared in the comments section
