Get a good night's sleep, and tomorrow morning at 8:55, wake up to see if Musk can turn cars into rockets! The second-generation Tesla Roadster is finally making its debut! First unveiled in 2017, originally planned for delivery in 2020, but it’s been delayed for almost 9 years. Musk is hyping this up to the max: claiming it has the potential to be the greatest product demo in history. The most exciting part? SpaceX’s rocket technology. Previously, Musk hinted at the cold gas thruster system and even suggested the car might briefly lift off the ground. The demo originally scheduled for October 1 was postponed due to strong winds, making everyone even more curious: what exactly are they planning to show that can’t handle a bit of wind? October 16 at 8:55 AM Beijing time, Tesla’s official X livestream. For now, we’ll watch the live demo—it’s still a ways off from actual mass production and delivery. Let’s hope Musk can truly give the world a little shock this time!
